Vocabulary building, word categorization, verbal expression
Materials: Paper bag or basket, sticky notes, pencil
- Pick a category: things that are "soft," things that are "round," things in a kitchen
- Give your child a bag and 5 minutes to collect examples from around the house

Conversation Builder
Conversational turn-taking, topic maintenance, asking follow-up questions
Materials: A deck of cards (or dice), conversation topic list (write 10β15 topics)
- Write 10 conversation topics on slips of paper (school, favorite food, pets, a movie you saw)
- Player 1 draws a topic and talks about it for 30β60 seconds

Reading Comprehension Retell
Listening comprehension, narrative sequencing, vocabulary in context
Materials: A picture book or short story (5β10 minutes to read aloud)
- Read a short story aloud together β pause at 2β3 points and ask "What do you think will happen next?"
- After reading, ask: "Who is the story about? What did they want? What happened? How did it end?"

Oral Motor Exercise Routine
Oral motor strength, speech clarity, jaw stability
Materials: Mirror (handheld or wall), straw, bubble wand,ηΊΈε·Ύ or cheese cloth, a button on a string
- Warm-up: Open mouth wide and say "ahhh" for 5 seconds β watch in the mirror. Repeat 5 times.
- Lip strength: Use a straw to suck water up and down a straw (bubble chase game β make the water travel up and down)

Sentence Builder Game
Sentence formation, grammatical structure, expressive language
Materials: Index cards or sticky notes, a toy or picture book character (any small figure or doll)
- Place 3 picture cards on the table: a person (draw a simple stick figure), a place (house/park/store), and an action (running/jumping/eating)
- Have your child pick one card from each pile and put them together: "[Person] [is] [action] [place]"
